• RESOLVED - AWS Outage

  UPDATE 10/21/25 - Amazon Web Services (AWS) has reported that they have restored all services. Donor Services has reviewed the impacted platforms and all processes are believed to be fully restored. Please reach out to Donor Services (donorservices@uif.uillinois.edu) if you are still experiencing any issues. 

  A widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage is currently affecting multiple online services across the internet, including several of our vendor platforms.

  GiveCampus has reported intermittent performance issues related to the AWS outage. Most platform capabilities remain intermittently operational, including online giving and GC GO workflows, but some data transfer tools (such as imports, file transfers, and APIs) may experience temporary delays or degraded performance. Venmo has been temporarily removed as a giving option.

  Both Cvent and Smartsheet are experiencing slow performance and intermittent outages related to the AWS disruption. Our teams are monitoring vendor updates and will restore full functionality as soon as possible.

  Our email delivery vendor, SocketLabs, which supports Email+ communications, is also affected by the AWS outage. As a result, Email+ is currently not allowing the sending of emails until the issue is resolved.  

  All Marketing Effort Communication Files have also been affected. 

  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we monitor these issues and work closely with each vendor. Updates will be posted here as new information becomes available.

  Issue displaying PDF Documents in OnBase

  We are currently experiencing a display issue with PDF documents in OnBase links and the web client. When you try to open a document, you will see a blank page and thumbnails to the right. It looks like the document is loading, but it will not open.

  To view the proposed workaround, please click on the heading for this News & Updates entry. We are currently working on a fix.

• CHANGES TO THE HONOR ROLL REPORT SUITE

   Four new columns are being added to the Honor Roll Report Suite in TED. 
   They will provide distinctions when the Total Qualifying Recognition Amount
   of the Honor Roll is different between the entities within a household. The 
   new columns are -
   Total Qualifying Entity 1 Amount
   Total Qualifying Entity 2 Amount
   HH Qualifying Difference Flag
   Potential Indiv Name Pref Flag
   Lastly, the Honor Roll Exceptions Report will now look at both the NL000
   Publicity Opt Out as well as the No Publicity Attributes.

  Update 7/9/25 10:50AM: EGAD Dashboard and Weekly Gift Reports are now displaying all transactions, and the issue has been resolved. 
  The EGAD and Weekly Gift Reports are not displaying any transactions dated after the start of the new Fiscal Year.  Transactions dated prior to 7/1 are showing as expected.

  The TED Data warehouse nightly refresh process is still running this morning and the reports located in TED on the UI Reporting and Business Manager tabs will be unavailable until 12pm today (10/4/21).   If you have already ran reports this morning, please rerun them again after 12:00 (Noon), as the data you received may be incomplete. Users who run the CAP process on Monday mornings will also be impacted by this issue.
