  • Denodo Login Issues

    December 19, 2024: We are aware of an issue with the Denodo system connecting to the LDAP server for authentication. This issue is preventing users from logging into the Solution Manager. We are investigating the cause and it's resolution now. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Production Solaris and Linux server maintenance and Oracle database patching

    On Sunday, December 8th, 2024 from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, AITS will perform routine production Solaris and Linux server maintenance and Oracle database patching.  All production services running on these servers, including EDDIE and the Data Warehouse, will be unavailable during this event.

  • EDDIE down for software maintenance - 10/19/24

    EDDIE/Business Objects is scheduled to be down for software maintenance on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm CDT.  During the maintenance event, BO and EDDIE will be unavailable.  You can find the latest information on the maintenance event at https://status.uillinois.edu/maintenances/115984

  • EDDIE/Web Intelligence Restarting

    October 3, 2024 - The EDDIE system, including the Web Intelligence Rich Client, is experiencing an issue and the system is being restarted.  You may experience the system being slow or may not be able to access the system. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Web Intelligence Rich Client - (CS) ConfigManager not yet initialized Error

    Some customers using the desktop version of Web Intelligence are receiving a (CS) ConfigManager not yet initialized error when running reports. Please see the fix provided at https://answers.uillinois.edu/141285.

  • EDW Student Records and Registration data not updated

    The EDW Student Records and Registration data was not updated last night.  We are investigating and will provide information when it becomes available.

  • Web Intelligence Rich Client Upgrade

    Some users are reporting errors when trying to run reports in the Web Intelligence Rich Client.  WE RECOMMEND USERS UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE LATEST VERSION OF THE RICH CLIENT. Here are instructions on how to complete the upgrade process. Note that you'll need to be an administrator on your computer or get assistance from your local desktop IT support.

  • EDDIE/Web Intelligence Login Issues

    June 10, 2024 - We are aware of issues many users are having logging into EDDIE and/or the Web Intelligence Rich Client. We are investigating the issues and will provide an update when we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • EDDIE Maintenance Period

    June 10, 2024, noon - 1 pm - The EDDIE system will be unavailable from noon to 1 pm today for maintenance.

  • Tableau Test and Production Server outage

    Tableau Test and Production Servers will be unavailable while being upgraded to the latest version.  Tableau Test will be down 5/10/2024 5-7 pm. Tableau Production will be down 5/11/2024 11 am - 1 pm.

  • Enterprise Data Warehouse - Month End Finance Report Delay

    Finance month end reports for March 2024 will be delayed until Monday, April 8, 2024, due to the Banner FAFSA upgrade.

  • DS Unit Security Contact (USC) Security App down 1/30/2024.

    The DS Unit Security Contact (USC) Security App will be down for updates from 8 - 8:30 am on 1/30/2024.

  • Upgrade to Tableau Test Server

    The Tableau Test Server will be updated to version 2023.1.8 at 11 am today, 1/12/2024.  Tableau Test Server will be unavailable during this upgrade and may take up to 3 hours.

  • Production Windows Server Patching

    AITS will be applying patches to the production Windows servers on Thursday, July 11, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. All production services hosted on Windows servers maintained by AITS will experience intermittent outages during this event. This includes EDDIE/EDW and Tableau.

    The EDW will be unavailable Saturday, September 30, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Any reports in EDDIE or Tableau that use EDW data will not work during this maintenance.  

    Connections to the EDW from departmental applications will also be impacted. You can check availability on the http://status.uillinois.edu during the anticipated downtime.
