University Human Resources and UPB Benefits Services offices are offering a series of free retirement and investment seminars for University employees.Representatives from Fidelity Investments, TIAA-CREF, and the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) will be on various campuses during the period of March 15 through May 15. See the dates for each campus by going to the NESSIE registration link provided below. Fidelity and TIAA-CREF are vendors for both the 403(b) Plan and the SURS Self-Managed Plan, and can help you understand options under either plan. However, you do not need to be participating in either plan to attend!

These seminars are approved events under Civil Service Policy and Rules, Rule 11.12. Employees may be released from work to attend a seminar, University operations permitting, and subject to prior supervisor approval.
