To: System Office Employees
From: Jami Painter
Associate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
On Tuesday, June 23rd, System HR hosted a webinar for supervisors and managers to discuss the President’s Management Council guidelines for a very gradual and flexible return to the workplace for system-level employees, unless work responsibilities require office presence. The first and foremost concern in all of our planning has been the health and safety of employees, students, and broader university communities. These Guidelines were recently approved by the president and vice presidents and will be executed over the next few months.
Each unit will begin working with a small workgroup, coordinated by Sarah Zehr (Office of the EVP for Academic Affairs) and Karen Greenwalt (Office of the VP/Chief Financial Officer), to develop their individual plan specific to their operations. For more information, I invite you to watch the System Offices Returning to the Workplace Webinar for detailed information on how the Guidelines will be implemented. You may also download the accompanying System Offices Returning to the Workplace PowerPoint.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment. We hope you find time this summer to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
Questions should be directed to your supervisor and/or unit head, or to System Human Resource Services at erhr@uillinois.edu or 217-333-2600.
