Ensuring that American retirees have sufficient income to last throughout their retirement is among the most critical issues facing our economy over the next 15 years, especially as the wave of baby boomer retirements accelerates.
On Wednesday, April 18th at 10:30 AM, TIAA and the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois will host a convening of scholars and policymakers to explore contemporary recommendations to address the looming retirement crisis. TIAA has invited university employees and students, along with the general public and media, to attend the discussion, which will take place in the I Hotel’s Chancellor Ballroom. A formal, seated lunch will be served for registered attendees.
Learn about the challenges facing the U.S. retirement system and how you can make sure you don’t outlive your savings.
Panelists include: Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs, TIAA CEO of Institutional Financial Services Ron Pressman, Dean of the Gies College of Business Jeff Brown, Professor Angela Lyons, Illinois State Universities Retirement System Executive Director Martin Noven, and TIAA Senior Product Actuary Beth Sutherland.
