Benefit Choice will be available for one additional day (June 1, 2017)! The following notice was received from Central Management Services (CMS) today.
“We have learned of recent member difficulties in making Benefit Choice elections on MyBenefits.illinois.gov, as well as extended call hold times at MyBenefits Service Center yesterday and today. Due to these issues in making Benefit Choice elections, we are extending the opportunity for you to make changes to your coverage and/or enroll into a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) online through 11:59 pm CT on June 1, 2017.
MyBenefits Service Center will continue to accept elections and voice mail messages regarding enrollment through 11:59 pm CT on June 1st. Please note, every attempt will be made to return calls as soon as possible so that any members still awaiting a response from MyBenefits Service Center can complete their elections. Messages left by 11:59 pm CT on June 1st will have their Benefit Choice elections processed.”
You may disregard this email if you already made your changes, or if you don’t want to make any health, dental, or life insurance changes or enroll/re-enroll in a flexible spending account.
