Overview:
As a Vaccine Incident Analyst intern, you will play a vital role in reviewing and analyzing vaccine incident reports, particularly focusing on storage and shipping incidents linked to weather-related events in Illinois. Your insights will help us enhance vaccine safety and reliability. We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us analyze vaccine incident reports and improve our operational practices.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze vaccine incident reports for completeness.
- Extract actionable suggestions and identify patterns related to vaccine storage and shipping.
- Compare stability statement processes from various vaccine manufacturers.
- Develop recommendations for best practices in vaccine handling and distribution.
Requirements:
- Located within 1 hour of Springfield, Illinois to work onsite for 15 hours a week.
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Duration and Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship with flexible scheduling options to accommodate academic commitments. This is an onsite position in Springfield, Illinois for 15 hours a week. Academic credit may be available depending on your institution's guidelines.
