Location: Springfield, IL. Must be located within 1 hour of Springfield, Illinois to work onsite for 15 hours a week.
Overview:
As the Health Program Development Intern, you will play a key role in creating a centralized platform for managing information, calendars, appointments, alerts, and workflow ticket tracking. Your efforts will help improve communication and efficiency within our team. We’re seeking a motivated intern to assist in developing and maintaining a SharePoint site that will streamline our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in health administrative tasks for the Vaccines for Children program.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a SharePoint site for the Vaccines for Children program.
- Centralize information and manage calendars, including scheduling appointments and storing important alerts.
- Create a user-friendly dashboard for workflow ticket tracking.
- Draft communications to providers regarding updates and site functionality.
- Present the SharePoint site to stakeholders at the end of the semester.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Public Health, Health Administration and Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Located within 1 hour of Springfield, Illinois to work onsite for 15 hours a week.
Duration and Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship with flexible scheduling options to accommodate academic commitments. This is an onsite position in Springfield, Illinois for 15 hours a week. Academic credit may be available depending on your institution's guidelines.
