Springfield: Temporary outages for Campus Cash and i‑card payments start August 30
Beginning 8:30 am on Monday, August 30 until Tuesday afternoon, August 31, the Springfield ID Center expects some i‑card services to be unavailable. These temporary limitations will be in effect during a planned upgrade for the software that is used to manage Campus Cash and meal plan accounts. The ID Center will send an all-campus email once the software upgrade is complete and all services are restored.
Affected i‑card services
The following services are affected by the upgrade:
- i‑card payment at vending machines (cash only)
- i‑card payment at the bookstore (credit/debit card and cash only)
- UIS convenience copiers (unavailable) and printers (cash only, where available)
- Campus Cash (deposits and balance-checks unavailable)
All other services will continue without interruption
There will be no change to all other services, including sales at Dining Services locations where you may continue to use your i‑card and meal plan.
