Twitter as an Educational Discussion Tool
SMMC is hosting a Summer 2020 #UIMoney Tweet Chat Series. We aren't new to tweet chats. In fact, between 2012-2015, we hosted weekly tweet chats. If you're new to tweet chats, we'd love to have you join us this summer and let us know how we can support your financial transitions during a rather difficult and unpredictable time.
What's a Tweet Chat?
Good question. A tweet chat is a dynamic way to interact and talk with your peers via Twitter on a predetermined day about a predetermined subject. Think of it as a weekly coffee date with where you can share ideas and ask questions about different money-related topics.
So How Do I Join?
Participating is easy! Just follow @ILStudentMoney on Twitter and search for the hashtag #UIMoney when the tweet chat is scheduled to happen. We (the moderator) will get the Twitter party started with a question related to that tweet chat topic, and all you have to do is reply with the hashtag #UIMoney.
