University of Illinois Saves, or UISAVES, is coordinated by the University of Illinois System Student Money Management Center (SMMC), a unit of USFSCO, and University of Illinois Extension's Financial Wellness for College Students.
The overall goal of UISAVES is to create a culture of savings at our three universities – University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois at Springfield.
In 2012, we began University of Illinois Saves (UISAVES) with a competition between the three universities which has continued as an annual campaign every spring to promote education and resources supporting financial wellness for students and employees across the System.
The 2020 campaign will run 3 weeks and focus on the following themes:
- Small Amounts Add Up
- How to Build a Habit
Each week, SMMC will share messages focusing on different concepts related to each of these themes.
Follow SMMC & University of Illinois Extension on social media to see what we share! SMMC is on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
