Since the webinar, the U.S. Department of Education has extended the deadline for Direct Consolidation where borrowers can maintain payment counts toward IDR cancellation or Public Service Loan Forgiveness to April 30, 2024. Learn more about Payment Count Adjustments on the FSA website.
