We are pleased to announce that beginning July 8, 2026, two investment funds available through the University’s 403(b) Plan with TIAA will transition to lower-cost share classes:
- Allspring Core Bond Fund
- Vanguard Short-Term Bond Index
Any existing balances in, and future contributions to, these two funds will automatically move to the lower-cost share class version of the fund. Lower fees means you keep more of the potential return generated by your investments. There is no investment strategy difference between the different share classes.
No action is required on your part, unless you’d like to make changes to the funds in your TIAA account.
TIAA participants – In the coming days, participants will receive a communication with additional details. Participants enrolled in electronic delivery will receive an email. All other participants will receive a letter via postal mail. The TIAA communication may also be viewed through your TIAA online account under Statements & Documents.
