The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) updated its Claim Payment Delay website with additional details on claim release dates for insurance plans impacted by the state’s delay in paying health and dental claims.
If you are waiting on an insurance claim to be paid, you can once again check this website to see the state’s progress on claim determinations and/or payments.
At this time, the page lists claim release dates for the Quality Care Health Plan (QCHP) with Cigna, the two Open Access Plans (OAPs) with HealthLink and Coventry, and the Quality Care Dental Plan (QCDP) with Delta Dental. As a participant in one of these plans, you can now view the dates of claim determinations and/or payments being released.
