Central Management Services (CMS) announced changes to the State 457 Deferred Compensation Plan (Plan) investment options, effective September 1, 2020, to help you meet your retirement and financial goals. View the announcement from CMS.
This announcement was sent to all State employees, you may disregard this notice if you do not participate in this Plan.
How will these changes affect my account?
- Your balances will be exchanged into the replacement investment option as noted in the chart on the CMS announcement.
- There will be a short blackout period starting at 3 p.m. central time on Thursday, August 27, 2020.
- Full access to your account will resume at the start of business on September 1, 2020.

The changes are designed to give you more cost-efficient investment options with names that more clearly reflect their investment objective.
