Share Your Voice: Help Shape the Future of Men's Health in Illinois
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), in partnership with the University of Illinois, invites community members, healthcare professionals, advocates, and stakeholders to participate in a series of Men's Health Assessment Listening Sessions taking place across Illinois.
These sessions are meant to gather feedback about men's health needs in the state. Topics attendees can expect include, but are not limited to:
- The state of men’s health – promoting awareness, understanding barriers, and identifying needs.
- Improving outreach – highlighting program proposals, developing health topic priorities, and meeting men where they are.
- Sharing your experience – what’s worked, what hasn’t, and where the gaps are.
Each session will be led by staff from the University of Illinois and IDPH. The goal is to hear directly from people in the community. All ideas, experiences, and perspectives are welcome.
Whether you have lived experience, work in healthcare or public health, serve your community, or simply care about improving men's health outcomes, we encourage you to join the conversation. Virtual listening sessions will be offered to ensure participation opportunities for individuals across the state.
Please complete the interest form below if you would like to be notified when the official schedule and registration become available.
As we continue to expand our in-person listening session locations, the form allows you to propose an unlisted location for us to consider adding in the future. Your feedback will help us ensure these conversations are reaching communities across the state!
We look forward to hearing your insights and partnering with communities across Illinois to advance men's health.
