Booker T. Washington STEM Academy’s fourth- and fifth-graders are graduating from the first-ever Future Health Innovators Academy Mini Medical School Program, wearing their new white coats. This eight-month program, in collaboration with Carle Illinois College of Medicine and the Champaign Unit Four School District, is where students learn about different medical professions while working alongside doctors.
