System Government Costing is happy to announce the creation of April sessions of the Service Activity Advanced certificate track. The popularity of the track has convinced us to open applications to a new cohort. After receiving your certification for Service Activities Advanced, you will be amazed at how much easier rate calculations can be!
Applications for the April cohort of the track will be accepted until Friday, March 18.

About The Course
The Service Activity Advanced Certificate Track is multi-session, cohort-based, and instructor-led training over Zoom. Participants will walk through rate calculation steps including retrieving data, populating the rate calculation templates, and hands-on experience with allocations. The course includes advanced topics such as the adjusted fund balance, over/under recovery calculation, external rates, and subsidies.
Applications are now being taken for the new cohort, which will start in April. Training will be held over six sessions from 8:30am-12:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Applicants MUST be able to attend all these sessions and two monitors are required to participate.
- Tuesday, April 12 – 8:30am-12:00pm
- Thursday, April 14 – 8:30am-12:00pm
- Tuesday, April 19 – 8:30am-12:00pm
- Thursday, April 21 – 8:30am-12:00pm
- Tuesday, April 26 – 8:30am-12:00pm
- Thursday, April 28 – 8:30am-12:00pm
In addition to the time spent in course, participants will be required to spend an additional 2 hours per week (approximate) completing lessons and ungraded knowledge check questions outside of class. A final exam is required to receive the certificate of completion for the course.
Participants who successfully complete the track will receive permanent Service Activities certification. Click here to apply today.
