In January 2025, the University of Illinois System will partner with a new Travel Management Company.
The new Travel Management Company (TMC) will provide:
- Dedicated full-service agents for individual, group, domestic, or international travel
- No online or agent-assisted booking fees for airline, hotel, car, or train reservations
- Seamless transition of the iTravel online booking tool
- iTravel training sessions will resume in January
- New Hotel Program for group travel
- Dedicated Hotel Program Manager
- Exemption from competitive bid process for group travel
The transition process has begun, and additional information will be provided as progress is made. The name of the new TMC will be announced once implementation is complete.
