Join us to hear keynote speaker Jacqueline (Jackie) Gomez speak. Jackie is the dedicated Executive Director of the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), a prominent organization committed to advocating for equity and diversity within the construction industry. With over fifteen years of experience in business development and supplier diversity, Jackie is a thought leader in the field of diversity and inclusion, championing policies that break down barriers and promote equitable participation in the construction sector. Under her leadership, HACIA has become an industry leader in fostering the growth and prosperity of minority construction professionals.
Prior to her role at HACIA, Jackie served as the Director of Supplier and Workforce Diversity for the Obama Foundation, overseeing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives related to the construction of the Obama Presidential Center. Her extensive experience also includes directing Cook County's Office of Contract Compliance, where she played a vital role in implementing M/WBE programs and ensuring fair participation in County contracts. Jackie's commitment to uplifting small businesses extends beyond her professional life, as she actively serves on various boards and committees aimed at fostering economic growth and opportunity. Jackie is an alumna of the University of Illinois-Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. She also received an MBA from National Louis University.
