Did you know that the FY21 Year-End Closing Procedures has a list of various deadlines to help keep you on track during the year-end closing process? See below for a few highlights of upcoming deadlines that will be helpful to keep in mind:
- The deadline to process FY21 labor redistributions for FY21 payroll charges (excluding 2021 MN7 and 2021 BW15) is Thursday, July 15 at 5:00 p.m. Keep in mind that these labor redistributions must use a June transaction date and be approved (i.e., at disposition 60) in order to appear on the June period 12 statements.
- Also, remember that labor redistributions cannot be processed in period 14.
- The deadline to process any remaining FY21 journal vouchers or feeders is Friday, July 16 at 5:00 p.m. Users are strongly encouraged to process any final FY21 entries earlier if at all possible, to avoid any last-minute errors or issues.
- The deadline to complete and submit Fact Sheets for your self-supporting funds (and certain practice plan funds) is Wednesday, July 21 at 5:00 p.m. For guidance on how to complete your Fact Sheets, refer to the Fact Sheet Training Resources section of UAFR’s Fact Sheet resources webpage, which includes various job aids and reference tools.
