Accounting: Introduction to Banner and Finance II
In this instructor-led Zoom course, you will expand your knowledge of Banner and finance. We will demonstrate how to navigate Banner and use various pages to search for departmental financial information. We will explain in detail the structure of the C-FOAPAL string and the importance of each segment for your department and the University of Illinois System financial reporting. You will also be introduced to the principles of fund accounting, the Operating Ledger, and the General Ledger.

This presentation enhances the information in the University of Illinois Closing/Opening Procedures document.
