    • Renewals of $1,000,000 or more for commodities, general services and/or professional and artistic services including sole sources require Board of Trustees aproval. Requisitions need to be submitted to Purchasing in adequate time to obtain the necessary BOT approvals by January 17, 2025. Last FY25 BOT mtg. Date is May 22,2025

    The Business & Finance Policy Office has made two clarification updates to policy 8.1.1 Business Meals, Food Supplies, and Alcohol:

    1. The information on the TCard Exception Form has been updated to state that if a vendor has an agreement with the system to be paid by TCard, an Exception Form is not needed. To find out if such a contract exists, please contact University Payables.

    2. Clarification has been made for catered meals that are (A) pre-made drop and go (e.g., boxed lunches, chafing dishes in buffet style) versus (B) meals wait-staffed by the vendor. The former (A) is considered a Business Meal, and the latter (B) is considered a Catered Event.
