University Accounting and Financial Reporting is announcing final extensions to the previously extended 2020 and 2021 equipment Biennial inventories.
Certification due dates are being extended to September 30, 2021 for all open cycles consistent with the maximum 90-day extensions provided to the university by the State of Illinois regarding these mandated inventories and related reporting. New due dates are now the same for all open cycles and are as follows:
- Certification due date is now September 30, 2021.
- Pending Resolution due date is now December 31, 2021.
Additional extensions are not expected, and uncertified units must make plans for completing the tasks and duties needed to certify equipment.
Please be aware all units will still have a 3-month pending resolution window after certification running from October 2021 to December 2021 to research and resolve pending/unfound items to complete the Biennial inventory process.
