The Office of the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Comptroller announces that Business and Finance Policy 8.7 Cellphone & Data Plan Business Expenses has been updated to state that pagers and other one-way communication devices need Business Manager approval (where Business Manager is defined as the employee with fiscal responsibility and oversight of all financial transactions of a department or unit).
Mobile communications equipment such as cellphones, data plans, tables, and the like will still require college-level chief executive approval (deans, vice chancellors, or associate vice presidents).
