University Accounting & Financial Services has published the annual guidelines and calendar of critical dates to assist departments with the fiscal year-end closing and opening activities.
The FY21 Closing/FY22 Opening Procedures document and other important information can be accessed from the Year-End Procedures section of the Accounting and Financial Reporting web page, including dates and procedures for Fact Sheets for self-supporting funds and certain practice plan funds and FY21 year-end Labor Redistributions.
This financial information is critical to the integrity of the university's financial statements. Therefore, unit personnel responsible for the business and financial activity of the department must carefully review these guidelines, policies, and critical dates to ensure that this information is properly recorded in the university's financial system for inclusion in the university financial statements.
Additionally, the FY22 Month-End Closing Schedule is now available on the Month End Closing Schedules section of the Accounting and Financial Reporting web page.
