For anyone who manages financial activity in state fund codes, keep in mind that the end of the lapse period is quickly approaching.
Thus, it’s important to perform a final review of your financial activity within all of your FY24 state fund C-FOPs (such as any C-FOP utilizing the 100024 state fund or any other FY24 state fund used for special appropriations). A final review will ensure that any final budget adjustments and/or expense reclassifications are completed prior to the close of August business.
Once August business closes, the FY24 state funds will be officially terminated and no further corrections or adjustments will be allowed.
