Are you curious about FY23 Fringe Benefit Rates? Do you need to know what to include in your proposal budget for the next fiscal year?
Fringe Benefit Rates are required to be calculated based on prior year actual historical expenditures and then adjusted for known changes in expenditures and projections. For this reason, the calculations cannot be completed until the prior fiscal year has closed. Once the rates are calculated a rate document will be posted on the Government Costing website generally during the first week of August.
Prior to the release of the new fiscal year’s Fringe Benefit Rates, use the rates as directed by your corresponding University’s Sponsored Project Administration Office.
