During the lapse period, labor redistributions can still be processed against the 100024 state fund. However, only certain types of labor charges are eligible.
See the table below for guidance on which state fund to use for your labor redistributions during the lapse period. The allowability is dependent on both the timeframe of the pay event that is being redistributed and the employee type.
| 2024 BW14 or Prior | BW15 (Effective Date <7/1/24) | BW15 (Effective Date > or = 7/1/24) | Later Pay Events |
All BW* Employees | FY24 State Fund | FY24 State Fund | FY25 State Fund | FY25 State Fund |

| 2024 MN6 or Prior | MN7 (Effective Date < 7/1/24) | MN7 (Effective Date > or = 7/1/24) | Later Pay Events |
Non 9/12 Employees
9/12** Employees | FY24 State Fund
FY24 State Fund | FY24 State Fund
FY25 State Fund | FY25 State Fund
FY25 State Fund | FY25 State Fund
FY25 State Fund |
* BW = Biweekly
** 9/12 Employees = Employees who have an employee classification (also known as “eclass”) of AA, AB, BC, or BD.
Finally, keep in mind that the 2024 BW19 pay event will process on 9/4/24. So, in order to ensure a labor redistribution posts during August business without any errors, the following parameters must be met by 5:00 PM on 9/3/24:
- The labor redistribution must be dated with an August posting date, and
- The labor redistribution must be at disposition 60 (i.e., fully processed by the user) by 5:00 PM on 9/3/24.
