Gathering financial information is critical for creating and maintaining your rates, and we are here to give you options! System Government Costing provides service activity reports that complement our service activity rate template and demonstrate that the information matches the university’s financial statements. Access them conveniently through Webi or EDDIE. EDDIE is a browser-based Business Objects environment for running custom reports. It runs similarly to Webi but requires no installation.
To get started with EDDIE, follow these steps:
- Log in to EDDIE with two-factor authorization.
- Click on the “Folders” box on the home page.
- Click on “Public Folders” on the left side of the screen. This will populate a field on the right side of the screen.
- Click on “OBFS System Government Costing”.
- Select the report you want to create.
- In the “Query” section of the ribbon, click the Refresh icon.
- Enter the report parameters for the fund.
- Click “Run” to generate the report.
To run the Salaries and Wages report, you will need HR access in Banner. Your USC may request this from the DS Security Application.
