  The Office of the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Comptroller announces that Business and Finance Policy 15 Travel has been updated as part of its annual review policy. Major changes to the policy include:

  • The addition of policy 15.1.2 Headquarters and Travel / Commuting to University for Fully Remote Employees provides departments the option, but not the obligation, to reimburse fully remote employees for mandated travel.
    
    
  • Removes “Reasonable Tips” from the allowable expenses in Policy 15.1.4 Determine the Allowability of Travel Expenses due to recent updates to the new GSA rate. The new rate includes a $5 per day incidentals amount to be used for tips for baggage handlers, housekeeping, etc.
