Participants will walk through rate calculation steps, including retrieving data, populating the rate calculation templates, and hands-on experience with allocations. The course includes advanced topics such as the adjusted fund balance, over/under recovery calculation, external rates, and subsidies.
Applications are now being taken for the new cohort, starting in September. Training will be held over five sessions from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays. Applicants MUST be able to attend all sessions, and two monitors are required to participate.
Dates for the cohort are as follows:
- Monday, September 16
- Wednesday, September 18
- Monday, September 23
- Wednesday, September 25
- Monday, September 30
In addition to the time spent in the course, participants will be required to spend an additional 2 hours per week (approximate) completing lessons and ungraded knowledge check questions outside of class. A final exam is required to receive the certificate of completion for the course.
Participants who successfully complete the track will receive permanent Service Activities certification.
