  UAFR has officially published the FY23 Closing and FY24 Opening Procedures. This document includes procedures and critical deadline dates for the closing of FY23 and the opening of FY24.

  FY23 Year-End Fact Sheet Webinar
  This webinar will provide a helpful overview of the year-end Fact Sheet process, a critical part of the University of Illinois System’s year-end procedures. This year-end process helps ensure that all accruals (such as accounts receivable or accounts payable), deferrals (such as prepaid expenses or unearned revenue), and inventory for resale adjustments are properly recorded to Banner for all self-supporting funds and health service plan funds.

  Accounting: Journal Voucher Processing (Sessions 1, 2, and 3)
  This optional three class series builds on the required Journal Voucher Processing Certification Track. It focuses on three components of a journal voucher.

  1. Preparing the information needed to process a journal voucher accurately.
  2. Using FGAJVCD, FGAJVCQ, FGAJVCM in Banner to successfully complete the data entry.
  3. Editing, reviewing, and monitoring the journal voucher for successful completion.

  NOTE: While the registration for the three classes is separate, all three classes must be taken in the same month.

  • May series is on May 18, 23 and 25

  Accounting: My-UI-Financials
  My-UI-Financials is a financial report distribution tool where you can view all your financial and payroll information in one spot. You can check transaction details and open standard finance and payroll reports. You can provide others within your department access to My-UI-Financials to view the FOPs they are interested in instead of distributing paper copies of financial reports. Join UAFR Reporting as we demonstrate My-UI-Financials and discuss how to get started and use it in your department.
