The Business & Finance Policy Office announces an Open Comment period from June 22 through July 2 for new policy 8.2.6 Scholarly Activities Compensation and Reimbursement Policy.
This policy was created to clarify when and how faculty may receive reimbursements from outside entities for “scholarly activities related to their university responsibilities.” The policy outlines questions to ask for such reimbursements, the need for a business purpose, and other relevant questions and information necessary.
