System Government Costing has published a new webpage for Service Activities on the OBFS website. The Service Activities webpage provides:
- An overview of service activities;
- Policies, regulations, and requirements applicable to Service Centers and rate calculations;
- Service center responsibilities;
- System Government Costing responsibilities;
- Service Center training resources;
- Rate calculation Excel templates and guidelines;
- Business Objects Web Intelligence (Webi) report templates
As a reminder, per OBFS Policy 22 Self-Supporting/Revenue Generating Activities – Service and Storeroom Activities, rates should be reviewed annually by the unit and a formal rate calculation must be performed at least once every two years. Please contact System Government Costing at obfsgcocosting@uillinois.edu for questions and assistance with rate calculations.
