Have you ever needed to find which NACUBO function has been assigned to your program code in Banner, but you weren't sure where to look? If so, see below for a few tips:
- FZMPROG – This is the Program Code Maintenance page, which contains important information on your program code such as the title and the assigned predecessor program code (which, in most cases, is equivalent to the assigned NACUBO function).
- To query on your specific program code within this page, simply click the Filter button at the top right-hand corner (or use the F7 key) and enter your query parameters (such as your chart and program code numbers). Then, click the Go button at the upper-right hand corner (or use the F8 key) to see the results of your query.
- FTIPRGH – This is the Program Hierarchy Query page, which shows the program code hierarchy within Banner.
- This page is helpful for scenarios where the predecessor program code assigned on FZMPROG is actually another six-digit program code (as opposed to the typical four-digit NACUBO function like you would see in most cases).
- In those scenarios, you can use FTIPRGH instead, which lists the four-digit assigned NACUBO function in the NACUBO Sub-Function line item.
- For examples of how these pages appear within Banner, see slides 18 and 19 from a past UAFR presentation on this topic.
