University Accounting and Financial Reporting (UAFR) has released the next round of enhancements to both the FABweb and the Biennial Inventory applications. The most noticeable improvement is to the people search functionality associated with the Custodian and Equipment Manager fields in both the FABweb and the Biennial Inventory applications. Users can now search by name or partial name when populating these fields, simplifying the record completion process.
In FABweb and Biennial Inventory, users will find these improved search capabilities as follows:
- FABweb - New Acquisitions page (under the Unit Info tab)
- FABweb - Updates to Existing Assets (under the Unit Info tab)
- Biennial – Under Physical Verification/Manage Inventory/View/Edit Details page
- Biennial – Under Admin/Manage Roles/Add Unit Specialist
Improvements to the people search functionality was a high priority from user focus group feedback. More system improvements and updates, including a redesign of FABweb “Updates to Existing Assets”, are in progress and planned for implementation in the Fall of 2022.
