blog postsAdvisorsAdvisorsPeopleAdvisors Advisors are used throughout the Accelerator process and may be industry experts, alumni, faculty, etc. with knowledge specific to a team’s initiative or may more broadly assist with the accelerator. Advisors are encouraged to communicate regularly with teams and are invited to attend meetings with Batch participants at least once per year or to partner alongside initiatives in a guidance and expertise role. These roles are designed to be as flexible as the Advisor would like. Advisors are also invited to attend Demo Day. Team Advisors: Each team is encouraged to utilize advisors from across the University system and from outside the institution for guidance and insight as it relates to that team's initiative in a batch. Team advisors may participate regularly in team meetings, share expertise in a one-time interview, lead a strategy session, be "on call" for questions throughout a batch, etc. UIDEA Advisors: Accelerator staff and the Selection Committee are also encouraged to seek advice and guidance from University and external partners in accelerator operations or specific topics that might be of interest for upcoming batches. Sign up to be an advisor.
