Credit: Brian TroutImagesBatch Participants Each batch includes a number of teams or participants. Those teams are comprised of a small number of members, not to exceed eight. The participants self select into roles like those outlined below, or any other roles deemed necessary by the team. Chief Innovator: oversees the team, serves as chairperson, develops and deploys success metrics, identifies relevant stakeholders and ensures that product/strategy incorporates wins for those areas Product Lead: responsible for the designing and documenting the strategic product vision, processes, requirements and prototypes Financial Lead: responsible for managing the budgeted hours/financial investment, as well as projecting revenue from pilot and from scaled growth, etc. Head of Growth: responsible for determining how (and to whom) the product/service will scale across UIDP and for developing the communications/marketing strategy to promote product use Technical Lead: responsible for integrating vision with existing or future technology; liaises with business analysts, developers, etc. User Experience (UX) Lead: responsible for ensuring broad adoption of product/service by liaising with training and UI/UX team(s) and viewing product/service through varying user needs (donors, users, deans, etc.).
