The State Universities Retirement System (SURS) is offering four Retirement Education Seminars at its Champaign office located at 1901 Fox Drive, Champaign, IL 61820 (map/directions). These popular one-day seminars for members enrolled in the Traditional and Portable Plans are scheduled for:
Wednesday, March 14 from 9:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday, April 11 from 9:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday, April 24 from 9:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday, May 22 from 9:30am-4:30pm
Topics will include:
Social Security: A Social Security representative will be available to discuss eligibility requirements for Social Security and Medicare, how Social Security benefits are affected by SURS, and other general Social Security information.
Insurance: An insurance representative will present information on eligibility, coverage, cost, and dependent information for both State of Illinois Insurance and the College Insurance Plan (CIP).
Encore: Discovering what´s next in life: focusing on the emotions, questions, and possibilities for what´s next after retirement.

Seminars will be held at SURS (map/directions), at the dates and times listed above. The enrollment fee is $25 per member and $10 for a non-member guest. Lunch will be provided.
