Presence Healthcare System is undergoing changes, which may affect you if you receive health care at a Presence location. If you do not receive health care at these providers, you may disregard this information.
Northern Illinois Presence Facilities/Providers
We were recently notified that Presence Healthcare system (hospitals, outpatient clinics and other sites of care) in the northern part of the State will be acquired by Ascension Healthcare. This acquisition may be effective on or after March 1, 2018. Additional information about this acquisition will be shared as it becomes available.
If you seek care at Presence Healthcare, you need to be aware of this change and any impact it may have on your State of Illinois Group Health Insurance.
Prior to any appointments or procedures at Presence Healthcare, you are encouraged to call your Presence facility or your health plan administrator to confirm your insurance and coverage level.
Urbana and Danville OSF Facilities/Providers
HealthLink and OSF are in negotiations regarding the two hospitals listed below. At this time negotiations are ongoing and an agreement has not been reached. We encourage you to check the OSF website for updates as they become available.
If you seek care at one of the following facilities/providers, you need to take note of this change and its impact on your State of Illinois Group Health Insurance.
OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center (Urbana)
OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center (Danville)
