If you are a University of Illinois retiree who is enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B as are all your insured dependents, then you may be included in the Open Enrollment period for the CMS Medicare Advantage insurance plan (“Total Retiree Advantage Illinois” or “TRAIL” Program). If you are already a participant in TRAIL, the Open Enrollment Period for changing providers is October 15 - November 16, 2015. If you are newly eligible, you must enroll by November 16, 2015. Coverage elections and changes will be effective January 1, 2016.
