The updated University of Illinois System Statement on Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Other Sexual Misconduct, which reflects the U.S. Department of Education’s final regulations implementing Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, is now posted. The final regulations were published on May 19, 2020, and are effective as of today, August 14, 2020.
The University of Illinois System Statement reiterates that the University of Illinois prohibits and will not tolerate sex discrimination, sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct in its education programs and activities.
